The Executive Research Associate will use their research skills and knowledge of the packaging industry to assist in recruiting critical talent. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate superior research skills and develop an in-depth understanding of significant markets and talent pools. - Use their prior experience and knowledge of the mandate to set the framework for a successful search. Set the search strategy, identify the target organizations most likely to provide competent candidates, and familiarize yourself with job titles and reporting relationships to find the "perfect" individual to pursue on behalf of the company. - Self-managed navigation of the research process as specified by the business needs and search strategy. - Identify potential candidates through external sources. - Partner closely with the leadership team throughout the processes to bring forward candidate solutions. - Get insights on candidates and companies and create a repository for the broader benefit of the organization. - Provide our prospects with a high-touch recruiting experience, assuring real-time status updates through tight collaboration with the leadership team and hiring managers. - Ensure MTL has a high-quality, diverse talent slate for all roles. - Provide synthesized analysis of markets, competitors, and compensation as required - Proactively support knowledge management activities (organizational charts, candidate lists, industry trends) Knowledge/Experience: - An undergraduate degree from an accredited academic institution is required, and an advanced degree is advantageous. - Knowledge and experience in the Manufacturing sector are preferable. - Four years of research experience; experience working on engagements in a professional search firm would be an added advantage. - Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods - The ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines and exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of clients. - Ability to be proactive, take the initiative, follow up and follow through on all areas of responsibility, foresee business needs, and plan forward. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office and how to use its suite. - Demonstrated expertise using critical thinking abilities to investigate topics, develop personal judgment, and generate innovative ideas in a specific field. Desired Skills and Experience: - Strong communication skills and an energetic, persuasive mindset. - Highly organized and efficient with the ability to execute a plan down to the smallest detail. - Curious and problem-solving mindset. - Intense research, analysis, and presentation skills. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from a good college/university. - A post-graduate degree - MBA/PGDM-(HR is desirable) - Need to be fluent in business English (spoken and written)
