- The position is responsible for leading the quality function and driving the overall focus on quality processes and indicators.
- The position is also responsible for conducting quality audits across the organization and developing and monitoring action plans and ensuring compliances on quality certifications.
- The position holder shall also lead the unit quality team, constantly develop their professional and technical skills, and thereby contribute to their career growth.
WORK RELATIONS:
Internal Interface.
HDs, Senior Leadership/Key Stakeholders of all functions.
External Interface.
Vendors, Auditors, Statutory Officials, and various consultants.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Prudent Quality management - analysis of key quality indicators.
- Unit-wise Audits.
- Quality Certifications.
- Feedback to consultants.
- Accurate and timely publishing of reports.
- Team Management.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic & Long-Term Planning.
- Assist Head-Quality in providing strategic direction to the unity quality function.
- Develop all strategies, policies, design manuals related to the Quality function to meet continuous improvement needs, growth needs of the organization.
- Ensure that internal processes and metrics are aligned to create the highest quality and to ensure timely accreditations.
- Carry out periodic audits to ensure that the key controls are designed adequately and are operating effectively through the financial year.
- Work with IT team in the digitization of quality process.
Quality Indicators:
- Develop and maintain Quality Manuals with standard operating procedures and review them from time - to - time.
- Prepare standard SOPs for key areas in discussion with functional heads and incorporate quality standards where required.
- Develop a basis of measurement of quality for all key areas to track quality scores.
- Provide feedback to consultants on quality indicators.
Quality NABH Certifications:
- Identify NABH quality certifications to focus on in discussion with Head Quality and management and develop programs for implementation.
- Build and maintain a long-standing relationship with the certifying agencies.
- Liaise with certifying agencies to keep abreast of latest developments and requirements for certification.
- Coordinate with certifying agencies in carrying out assessments for accreditations.
- Ensure adherence to required quality NABH standards and ensure that the organization has required certifications.
Quality Audit:
- Develop the corporate audit program (calendar, audit group formation, templates, etc. ) to ensure adherence to internal quality standards and to identify deviations.
- Ensure that the unit carries out quarterly internal audits and adopts measures to rectify deviations.
Unit Quality Team:
- Constantly provide support to Unit Quality team members in terms of mentoring, direction & guidance from a functional perspective.
- Lead the team in sharing the required information from each unit for audit/certifications as required.
Team Management:
- Mentor, provide operational leadership and technical guidance to the team.
- Evaluate the performance of team members and provide periodic feedback.
- Ensure the team is adequately trained, equipped, motivated, and adequately deployed to ensure completion of work in a timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Motivate, counsel, and coach employees to ensure a conducive working environment.
Qualification and Experience:
Any Graduate + MBA.
15-22 years of Experience in quality.
