About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Pulmonologists to join our clinical team as Consultant / Junior Consultant / Registrar. The role involves diagnosing and managing a wide range of respiratory conditions, delivering high-quality patient care, and supporting critical care services where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat respiratory disorders such as asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, pneumonia, interstitial lung diseases, and other pulmonary conditions
- Conduct OPD consultations and manage IPD patients efficiently
- Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs), spirometry, and other diagnostic procedures
- Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, pleural tapping, and other respiratory interventions (based on experience level)
- Manage patients requiring ventilatory support, including ICU and emergency care
- Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans based on clinical evaluation
- Collaborate with intensivists, infectious disease specialists, and other departments for comprehensive care
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, smoking cessation, and respiratory health
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation
- Participate in clinical discussions, academic activities, and hospital quality initiatives
Qualifications:
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
- MD / DNB in Chest Medicine / Pulmonology / Respiratory Medicine (mandatory)
Experience:
- 0 to 3 years of experience in Pulmonology
- Fresh MD/DNB graduates with strong academic background are encouraged to apply
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong clinical knowledge in respiratory medicine
- Hands-on exposure to pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Experience in ICU/critical care management is preferred
- Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills
- Strong patient management and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
