Manager - Supply Chain Management

Job Description

KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The purpose of this role is to ensure fulfillment of all orders to meet the revenue outlook, proactive engagement of each contract , to put MRP based supply chain, to ensure delivery on time.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

- To ensure fulfillment of all orders to meet the Revenue Outlook of the company (Plan vs Actual Report)

- Forecast Accuracy to EMS and E Comp Vendors (No more than one change in Rolling EMS FC and no more than two changes in the Micro plan / sequence in supply per month)

- De risking of SCM -List of Single Sources and Action plan towards elimination.

- Proactive engagement for each contract by participation in each of the meetings to ensure timely action plans

- Acquire in depth knowledge on new development / tools and sharing knowledge amongst group.

- Target is to make each of the team members capable to manage their domain independently.

- Motivate team to contribute towards process improvements and cost reductions

- To put in place a MRP based supply chain for all direct materials.

- To ensure 80% of delivery is as per Need By Date of ERP

- Material storage and retrieval using ERP

- Deploy SPQ for all BOM items

- To exceed the budgeted MPV of 1.6% and Maximize low cost procurement & logistics

- To ensure movement of PCBA

- Supply chain readiness for new components as per ongoing PCO projects.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Work Experience: 10-12 years in relevant experience in the electronic manufacturing industry. Must be conversant with Import handling formalities
