Manager - Supply Chain - Food/Confectionery Industry

- We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of our supply chain operations.

- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex supply chains, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving business growth through data-driven insights.

- This role is critical to ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers while minimizing costs and waste.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee materials requirement planning (MRP) aligned with production forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste and holding costs.

- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to manage ingredient lead times and formulation changes, ensuring seamless execution of production plans.

- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, optimizing transportation routes and freight costs while ensuring product integrity.

- Manage third-party logistics providers and warehouse operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain execution.

- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build accurate demand forecasts, monitor sales trends, and adjust production schedules accordingly.

- Align supply chain activities with promotional calendars and seasonal demand spikes to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts.

- Track KPIs ( OTIF, inventory turnover, supplier lead time) and report performance to stakeholders.

- Lead cost-reduction and efficiency projects to drive business growth and improve supply chain resilience.

- Leverage ERP systems and digital tools for real-time visibility and decision-making.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of supply chain experience, preferably in the food or confectionery industry.

- Proficiency in ERP systems ( SAP, Oracle, or similar).

- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and leadership abilities.

- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization.
