Manager - Sourcing - Packaging Materials - FMCG

About the Role:

We are looking for a candidate for the position of Sourcing Manager - Packaging Materials with an MNC FMCG firm based in North India. The ideal candidate is an PG/MBA in Packaging with relevant exposure of 10-15 years in FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for packaging materials.

- Supplier Management: Identify, qualify, onboard, and develop strategic suppliers.

- Develop procurement strategies aligned with manufacturing and business objectives.

- Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service levels.

- Execute annual cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.

- Collaborate with R&D and Packaging Development teams to optimize material specifications.

- Ensure uninterrupted supply of packaging materials.

- Monitor supplier delivery performance and inventory levels.

- Work closely with: Packaging Development, R&D, Manufacturing, QA, Planning and Finance team.

New Product Launch & Business Support:

- Identify sustainable and recyclable packaging solutions.

- Support ESG initiatives through supplier collaboration.
