Role: Manager / Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition


Job Location: Mumbai


Job Purpose:


To plan and execute recruitment strategies for corporate functions, ensuring the organization attracts high-calibre talent. This role also focuses on managing relationships with corporate function heads and their teams to streamline the recruitment process and improve employee onboarding, facilitating faster delivery and integration.


Key Challenges:


Diverse Function Requirements: Understanding and catering to the unique needs of each corporate function to attract specialist talent.


Talent Scarcity: Sourcing and recruiting professionals with niche skill sets in a competitive talent market.


Stakeholder Management: Interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, from junior to senior management, and aligning their expectations.


Key Result Areas:


1. Manpower Planning: Analyse current manpower numbers and structure across corporate functions, consolidate requirements, and secure approval as part of the manpower planning exercise.


2. Recruitment Strategy: Independently plan and staff positions across all levels based on corporate function needs.


3. Vendor Management: Identify, develop, and manage relationships with recruitment vendors and consultants.


4. Onboarding and Induction: Oversee the pre-joining engagement and induction processes to ensure smooth onboarding for all new hires, including compliance with documentation.


5. Campus Hiring: Plan and execute campus recruitment strategies to meet the manpower requirements of various functions, while managing the career progression of campus hires.


6. HR Strategy Implementation: Support and lead HR strategic initiatives, contributing to the overall HR agenda.


7. Employee Engagement Events: Organize and manage events such as new joinee meets and quarterly induction programs.


8. Communication and Support: Influence and support corporate functions to adopt and drive focused HR agendas through effective communication strategies.


9. Employee Connect: Conduct focused group discussions, surveys, and individual interactions to understand and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.


Qualification & Skills:


- 8 to 12 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, including a minimum of 4 to 5 years focused on senior leadership hiring.


- Proven track record of managing and closing mandates with compensation packages ranging from 50 Lakhs to 1.5 Crores.


- Experience in successfully hiring 50+ positions annually.


- Tech-savvy professional with hands-on experience using modern recruitment technologies AI-based tools, digital interviewing platforms, data-driven insights, and dashboard management.


- Strong understanding of compensation and rewards strategies.


- Personality traits: Demonstrates promptness, agility, and a strong sense of ownership with excellent turnaround capabilities.
