Logistics Sr Manager/Manager.

Job Description:

- We are seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Lead with a strong background in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), WM, EWM, TM and a comprehensive understanding of integration across all SAP modules.

- The ideal candidate will also have expertise in solution architecture, as well as implementation and support experience.

- As a key player in our SAP team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering SAP logistics solutions, ensuring end-to-end integration, and providing ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Logistics Leadership:

- Lead the end-to-end logistics processes within SAP, covering Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), WM, EWM and their integration with other SAP modules.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand logistics needs and translate them into SAP solutions.

- Provide strategic insights and direction on SAP logistics configurations, processes, and optimizations.

SAP Solution Architecture:

- Design and implement scalable, robust SAP logistics solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and long-term goals.

- Architect SAP systems by integrating SD, MM, and other relevant modules to ensure seamless data flow and system performance.

- Ensure alignment of solution designs with industry best practices and SAP standards.

Implementation & Project Management:

- Lead SAP logistics implementations, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

- Manage and coordinate across cross-functional teams (IT, business users, third-party vendors).

- Drive change management and training initiatives to ensure successful adoption of the solution.

Support & Continuous Improvement:

- Provide ongoing support for SAP logistics systems, identifying and resolving system issues, bugs, and performance gaps.

- Continuously optimize SAP logistics processes to improve efficiency, minimize costs, and support business growth.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving the integration of logistics processes with other SAP modules.

Integration & Coordination Across Modules:

- Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD, MM, and other SAP modules (e.g., Finance, Production Planning, and Procurement).

- Work closely with technical teams to design, develop, and test integration points.

- Ensure consistency in master data management across all logistics processes.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for logistics-related SAP activities across various business units.

- Maintain relationships with external vendors and in house consultants to ensure project milestones are met.

- Work closely with business leaders to define and prioritize logistics requirements and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.

Documentation & Reporting:

- Document solutions, processes, and configurations clearly and comprehensively for future reference and knowledge sharing.

- Create and present reports, dashboards, and status updates to senior management on project progress and system performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience:

- Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience working with SAP Logistics modules, including SD and MM.

- Proven experience in implementing and supporting SAP logistics systems in complex environments.

Solution Architecture:

- Extensive experience in solution architecture within SAP, including designing and implementing complex, integrated SAP landscapes.

Integration Expertise:

- Strong understanding of integration between SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO, WM, PP) and external systems, including both data and process integration.

Project Management:

- Experience in managing full-life cycle SAP implementation projects, from discover to go-live, as well as supporting post-implementation activities.

Technical Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of SAP configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with ABAP is a plus.

Business Knowledge:

- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and related business processes across industries.

Support & Optimization:

- Proven track record in supporting SAP systems post-implementation, providing troubleshooting and continuous improvements.

Leadership:

- Experience in leading cross-functional teams, mentoring junior consultants, and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP Certification in SD/MM or related logistics areas.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its logistics capabilities.

- Experience in working in an SAP Activate or Agile environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
