Description:

Job Title: Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager IT Services (BFSI Sector)

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: India Head Sales

Experience: Minimum 14 years

Industry: System Integration / IT Services

Role Overview:

The incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new BFSI clients (hunting) and managing select existing strategic accounts (farming). This role demands a strong understanding of IT services, solution selling, and relationship management within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive new business acquisition (approx. 70% hunting) within the BFSI vertical through proactive prospecting, networking, and market mapping.

- Manage and grow existing key accounts (approx. 30% farming) by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling IT services and solutions.

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.

- Engage with CXOs, IT decision-makers, and procurement heads to position the companys offerings effectively.

- Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and technical teams to design and propose customized IT solutions.

- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and report periodic updates to the India Head Sales.

- Stay updated with market trends, competition, and emerging technologies in the BFSI IT landscape.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education: BE / B.Tech and MBA (preferred).

Experience: Minimum 14 years of experience in IT Services / System Integration sales, with a focus on BFSI clients.

- Proven track record in solution selling, new account acquisition, and relationship management.

- Strong network and established relationships within leading BFSI organizations.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
