Senior Manager - Robotics & Automation Engineering - IIT/NIT

Role : Manager / Sr. Manager Robotics & Automation Engineering

Location : Navi Mumbai

Key Responsibilities :

- Strong hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of robotic equipment and automated production lines.

- Exposure to PLC, SCADA, HMI, Servo Drives, Vision Systems, Automated Conveyors, and Material Handling Systems.

- Proven experience in ensuring high plant uptime, machine reliability, and maintenance excellence in automated manufacturing environments.

- Experience in preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices.

- Ability to lead automation improvement projects and drive operational efficiency initiatives.

- Strong knowledge of TPM, Reliability Engineering, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

- Experience in managing engineering and maintenance teams, including manpower planning and capability development.

- Good understanding of spare parts management, inventory optimization, and maintenance cost control.

- Exposure to Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, and smart factory initiatives will be preferred.

Experience & Qualifications :

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation from premier institute (IIT or NIIT) with 10 - 12 years of experience in Engineering, Maintenance, Automation, or Robotics functions within manufacturing industries.

- Mandatory experience in fully automated manufacturing plants with extensive robotic and automation systems.

- Experience in Chemical, Oil & Lubricants, or allied highly automated manufacturing industries preferred.

- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Good understanding of safety, statutory compliance, ISO systems, and quality standards

- Candidate should be willing to work from plant location and lead engineering operations for a highly automated manufacturing facility.
