Salary Range: 18 LPA to 24 LPA

A leading Electrical & Engineering Manufacturing organisation is looking for an accomplished Manager/Senior Manager Purchase to lead its procurement function and drive strategic sourcing, cost optimisation and supply-chain excellence. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing, process of rate contracts.

- Drive cost optimisation, negotiations and commercial excellence.

- Build strong vendor partnerships and ensure quality & timely supplies.

- Strengthen procurement systems, processes and supplier performance.

- Partner with Manufacturing, Projects, Finance and Operations.

- Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.

- Lead preparation of the procurement budget and monitor/ control departmental expenses.

- Establish procurement policies related to master production schedule.

- Undertake vendor development activities and leverage long-term relationships with vendors.

- Oversee and supervise bidding and negotiation process and award contracts to vendors.

- Coordination with the Unit Heads/ Commercial Heads for delivery of significant and high value purchase items at the Units.

Ideal Profile:

- 8-10+ years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.

- Experience in Electrical / Engineering / Manufacturing industry preferred.

- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, negotiations and cost management.

- Proven leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities.
