
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management & Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
- Maintain compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, Bonus Act, etc.).
- Handle tax deductions (TDS) and coordinate with finance for accurate reporting.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns and liaise with auditors during compliance checks.
HR Operations
- Manage complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, documentation, and exit formalities.
- Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy in HR Tech systems.
- Oversee leave and attendance management, ensuring policy adherence.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
Policy & Process Management
- Draft and update HR policies in line with labor laws and organizational needs.
- Conduct periodic compliance audits and recommend improvements.
HR Technology
- Operate and optimize HR Tech platforms for payroll and HR operations.
- Generate reports and analytics for management review.
Culture & Engagement
- Foster a positive work environment and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
- Act as a point of contact for employees, ensuring smooth HR operations with a friendly approach.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR, focusing on payroll compliance and HR operations.
- Hands-on experience with HR Tech software (HRMS, payroll systems).
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.
- Experience in small teams or entrepreneurial setups (not large structured organizations).
- Excellent communication skills and a pleasant, approachable personality.
