Manager/Senior Manager - Legal (Land & Port)

Place of Posting - Mumbai

The Manager/Senior Manager - Legal (Land & Port) will be primarily responsible for:

- Drafting and negotiating land, port and commercial contracts.

- Handling litigation, arbitration and pre-litigation matters.

- Supporting labour compliance and internal investigations.

Job Responsibilities:

- Review and negotiate contracts; flag legal and commercial risks.

- Advise HR, land, port and tax teams on legal matters.

- Handle litigation (IBC, employee, tax) and maintain a litigation tracker.

- Support internal investigations and draft disciplinary letters.

- Liaise with regulators and external stakeholders on policy matters.

- Support corporate restructuring exercises.

- Track legal and regulatory changes affecting the business.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- LLB from a recognised university.

- 3 - 6 years of law firm or in-house experience, manufacturing/industrial preferred.

- Strong drafting and communication skills.

- Able to work independently across multiple matters.
