Manager/Senior Manager - Legal


- Draft, review, negotiate and interpret several types of contracts pertaining to insurance industry entailing distribution, marketing, outsourcing, consulting and strategy driven engagements including day to day commercial agreements with clients for Pension and Benefits group, such as: master services agreements, IT security, data protection agreements and any other related documents.


- Create and manage precedent agreements,


- Managing complex transaction work within a fast moving corporate environment with strong knowledge on legal issues related to Contracts.


- Working with teams and legal heads in Canada, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and USA.


- Work with subject matter experts across the organization and maintain a complete list of, and

positive relationships with, subject matter experts for all business areas


- Review privacy provisions as 1st line of defense


- Provide strategic advice and consulting service to business partners on post-sales agreements,


- Clearly communicating legal issues to internal business groups,


- Actively participating in project-based work and specialized projects,


- Advise on commercial, technology and intellectual property law matters,


- Structure client transactions to be most advantageous from a contracting and business perspective.


- Advise and consult company professionals based on accurate interpretation of contract documents and the facts of a business opportunity.


- Understanding of the statutory and regulatory framework for insurance and non-insurance domain prevalent in India, Canada, Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Vietnam and USA.


- Support the development of internal guidelines, toolkits and packaged knowledge capital on various legal and business issues including developing and maintaining a playbook on company's standard preferred positions, acceptable deviations and unacceptable deviation.


- Educate company professionals in regard to contracting and risk management issues.


- Represent the companys interests and interface directly with client negotiating teams.


- Manage work flows and processes while performing the business as usual transactions.


- Maintain agility and meet timelines for the assignments.


- Experience in handling contract management software.


- Display integrity and composure while dealing with multiple senior stakeholders & functional leaders


- Solve problems and analyze issues & build insightful story telling for driving improvements


- Communicate powerfully and prolifically


- Collaborate and promote teamwork


- Build relationships & diverse, equitable and inclusive teams


- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills
