The Mission: Driving Organic and Inorganic Growth
As the lead for FP&A and Corporate Development, you are the architect of the company's capital allocation strategy. Beyond managing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), you will lead the financial evaluation of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). This role is designed for a finance professional who can balance the rigor of internal financial planning with the high-velocity environment of deal execution. You are the "Gatekeeper of Value" for the organization.
Advanced Strategic Responsibilities
1. End-to-End M&A & Deal Execution
Target Valuation: Lead the financial modeling for potential acquisitions, including DCF (Discounted Cash Flow), Precedent Transactions, and Comps analysis. You will determine the "Fair Value" and the strategic premium for targets.
Due Diligence: Coordinate the financial due diligence (FDD) process. You will scrutinize the target's quality of earnings, working capital cycles, and potential tax liabilities.
Synergy Mapping: Identify and quantify revenue and cost synergies. You will build the "Post-Acquisition Model" to demonstrate how the target adds value to the existing portfolio.
Integration Support: Work with the Operations and HR teams to manage Post-Merger Integration (PMI), ensuring that financial systems and reporting standards are unified within 90 days of closing.
2. Strategic FP&A & Capital Management
AOP & Rolling Forecasts: Own the multi-entity consolidated budget for the group. You will manage the financial inter-dependencies between the parent company and its various acquired brands/subsidiaries.
Capital Allocation: Advise the CEO and Board on whether to reinvest cash into existing brands (Organic) or acquire new ones (Inorganic) based on IRR and Payback period analysis.
Board & Investor Reporting: Prepare high-impact "Investment Committee" memos and Board decks. You will present the financial health of the portfolio and the strategic rationale for new deals to external investors.
3. Advanced Business Intelligence
Unit Economics at Scale: Track and optimize the "Magic Ratio" (LTV/CAC) across different business units. You will lead the implementation of advanced BI tools to move the company toward real-time financial reporting.
Cash Flow & Treasury: Manage the group's liquidity, ensuring that debt covenants are met and that there is sufficient "Dry Powder" for opportunistic acquisitions.
Required Pedigree & Specialized Skills
Qualification: CA (Top Ranks preferred) or MBA Finance from a Tier-1 Institute (IIM/ISB/XLRI).
Experience: 6-10 years of core experience in FP&A, Corporate Development, or Investment Banking. You must have hands-on experience in at least 2-3 closed M&A transactions.
Technical Mastery: Expert-level Three-Statement Modeling, Cap-table management, and valuation techniques. Proficiency in SQL or BI tools (Tableau/PowerBI) is a major plus.
Soft Skills: Ability to negotiate with founders of target companies and challenge senior leadership with cold, hard data.
