About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager - Healthcare Staffing to drive business growth in the US market. This is a player-coach role, requiring both individual revenue ownership and the ability to build scalable sales processes and teams.
The ideal candidate understands the complexities of healthcare staffing, including compliance, credentialing, and clinical hiring dynamics, and has a proven track record of selling into US healthcare organizations from India.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Ownership
- Own and achieve individual revenue targets
- Drive the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, client engagement, proposal, negotiation, and closure
- Acquire new US clients across healthcare segments
- Build relationships with CNOs, Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, CMOs, TA leaders, and Procurement stakeholders
2. Client & Market Development
- Develop and manage relationships with health systems, hospitals, physician groups, and healthcare organizations
- Stay updated on healthcare staffing trends including nursing shortages, specialty demand, and rate cycles
- Navigate MSP/VMS programs for enterprise healthcare accounts
3. Compliance & Domain Alignment
Understand healthcare staffing compliance basics such as:
- State licensure requirements
- Credentialing standards (e.g., Joint Commission)
- Background checks and regulatory requirements
- Position compliance and credentialing as a value differentiator in sales conversations
4. Process & Strategy Building
- Design and implement a healthcare staffing sales playbook
- Define ICPs, outreach strategies, and pipeline stages
- Maintain CRM hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and reporting discipline
- Work closely with recruiting and credentialing teams to ensure delivery alignment
5. Team Building & Leadership
- Hire, onboard, and develop a sales team as the business scales
- Provide hands-on deal support and coaching
- Build a culture focused on credibility, compliance, and consultative selling
Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
- Proven experience in US Healthcare Staffing Sales (travel nursing, allied health, locum, healthcare IT, or clinical placements)
- Experience selling to US healthcare buyers (hospitals, health systems, physician groups)
- Demonstrated success in owning and delivering US revenue from India
- Strong understanding of healthcare roles and staffing dynamics
- Track record of building new client accounts from scratch
- Ability to operate as a player-coach (individual contributor + team builder)
Preferred Profile:
- 8-14 years of experience, including 4+ years in US healthcare staffing sales
Experience across staffing areas such as:
- Nursing (RN specialties)
- Allied Health (PT/OT/SLP, Radiology, etc.)
- Healthcare IT (Epic/Cerner)
- Revenue Cycle / Coding
Experience working with:
- Hospitals & Health Systems
- Physician Groups
- Long-term care & specialty facilities
- Strong network of US clinical and administrative stakeholders
- Experience managing complex deals and enterprise accounts
