Job Description:
We are seeking dynamic and target-driven Sales Managers to strengthen our presence in government and institutional business segments. The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B or government sales, a strong understanding of GEM (Government e-Marketplace) processes, and the ability to manage end-to-end sales operations independently.
Key Responsibilities / KRA:
- Drive sales and business development across government departments, public sector undertakings, CPWD, PWD, and educational/institutional clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, contractors, and institutional buyers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure and payment collection.
- Leverage GEM platform for product listings, bid participation, and tender management.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery schedules, and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.
- Maintain accurate sales reports and regularly update CRM systems.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing structures, and business ethics.
Key Skillsets:
- Proven experience in Government/Institutional Sales or B2B Sales.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with GEM (Government e-Marketplace).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Strong business acumen and results-oriented mindset.
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and persistence in achieving sales goals.
