About the Role:
We are seeking a high-performing Sales Manager - Engineering Staffing to drive business growth in the US market. This is a player-coach role, requiring hands-on sales execution along with the ability to build scalable processes and eventually lead a team.
The role is ideal for professionals who have end-to-end experience in selling engineering staffing services and can independently build and grow a US client base from India.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Ownership
- Own and deliver individual revenue targets from day one
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, client engagement, proposal, negotiation, and closure
- Acquire new US-based clients in engineering-intensive industries
- Build relationships with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, TA Leaders, and Procurement stakeholders
2. Client & Market Development
- Develop strong relationships with US clients across sectors like energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, data centers, and industrials
- Stay updated on engineering hiring trends, talent demand, and competitive landscape
- Navigate VMS/MSP environments for enterprise clients
3. Process & Strategy Building
- Design and implement a repeatable sales playbook for engineering staffing
- Define ICPs, outreach strategies, and pipeline stages
- Maintain strong CRM discipline and accurate forecasting
- Collaborate closely with recruitment teams to ensure delivery alignment
4. Team Building & Leadership
- Hire, train, and mentor a sales team as the business scales
- Provide hands-on deal support and coaching
- Build a culture of technical credibility and consultative selling
Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
- Proven experience in US Engineering Staffing Sales (contract/C2H/direct hire)
- Experience selling to US-based engineering clients (not IT staffing)
- Demonstrated success in owning and achieving US revenue targets from India
- Strong understanding of engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, civil, data center, hardware, etc.)
- Track record of building new client accounts from scratch
- Ability to operate as a player-coach (individual contributor + team builder)

- 8-14 years of experience, including 4+ years in US engineering staffing sales
