Experience and Skills Required: Experience: - 8-12 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or account management roles within engineering services, technology, or industrial sectors. - Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in B2B or enterprise sales environments. - Strong experience in working with offshore delivery centers, including coordination between global teams, managing time zone differences, and aligning client expectations with offshore execution. - Experience in selling to European markets, with a strong understanding of local business culture, regulations, and buyer behavior. - Prior experience in leading strategic accounts and navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. Core Skills: - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills-able to engage with CXO-level stakeholders. - Strategic thinking with the ability to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives. - Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities, both internally and externally. - Ability to analyze data and sales metrics to drive performance improvements and forecast trends. - Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, delivery, and product teams. Technical & Functional Knowledge: - Familiarity with engineering services offerings (e.g., product design, plant engineering, embedded systems, digital manufacturing). - Proficiency in using CRM tools such as Salesforce or equivalent for managing pipelines and reporting - Understanding of offshore delivery models, project life cycles, and proposal development processes. Desirable: - Exposure to working in a multicultural, distributed environment. - Fluency in German or familiarity with German business etiquette would be an added advantage. - Previous experience in sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, or industrial automation is a plus.
