Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PPC Manager (Production, Planning & Control) to plan, coordinate, and control production activities to ensure efficient utilization of resources, on-time delivery, and optimal inventory levels. The role involves aligning production plans with demand forecasts, monitoring manufacturing performance, and driving continuous improvement across production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling


- Develop and execute production plans and schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and capacity availability


- Coordinate with sales, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure production readiness


- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials

Production Control


- Monitor daily production progress against plans and take corrective actions to address deviations


- Track key production KPIs such as output, efficiency, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery


- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput and productivity

Inventory & Materials Management


- Plan and control raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels


- Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of materials


- Minimize excess inventory, shortages, and obsolescence

Coordination & Communication


- Act as a liaison between production, quality, procurement, and logistics teams


- Communicate production priorities and schedule changes effectively


- Support customer commitments by ensuring adherence to delivery timelines

Systems & Reporting


- Maintain accurate production data in ERP/MRP systems


- Prepare production reports, dashboards, and performance reviews for management


- Ensure data accuracy for planning, scheduling, and analysis

Continuous Improvement


- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction


- Support Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives


- Contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications


- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field


- 5+ years of experience in Production Planning & Control in a manufacturing environment


- Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and capacity management


- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar)


- Knowledge of inventory control and materials management


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


- Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational abilities
