Manager - Payroll & Compliance - NBFC

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to lead and manage Payroll Compliance for our NBFC. The role involves ensuring accurate payroll processing while maintaining full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Payroll Compliance Management :

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Oversee salary disbursement including incentives, bonuses, and reimbursements.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.

- Handle payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, and deductions.

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance :

- Ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws and regulatory frameworks.

- Manage timely statutory filings and returns.

- Coordinate with auditors and government authorities for compliance matters.

- Track and implement changes in labor laws and payroll regulations.

2. HR Compliance & Governance :

- Maintain compliant employee records and documentation.

- Conduct internal audits related to Payroll Compliance.

- Develop and update HR policies in line with legal requirements.

- Support external and internal audits with proper documentation.

3. Reporting & MIS :

- Prepare Payroll Compliance reports, dashboards, and MIS.

- Analyze payroll data for accuracy and cost optimization.

Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams.

- Resolve employee queries related to payroll and compliance.

Key Requirements- :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Finance, or related field.

- 3-6years of experience in Payroll Compliance, preferably in NBFC/Financial Services.

- Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll processes, and statutory compliance.

- Hands-on experience with HRMS/payroll software.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in handling audits and regulatory inspections.

- Knowledge of RBI compliance (NBFC-specific) is an advantage.

- Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
