Job Summary: This role is responsible for the Production, Efficiency, Quality of the Order Outs, Initial Disclosure and Document Wrangler Teams. In addition, making sure the pipeline is always moving in the right direction and maintains all process and procedure SOP documentation on Wiki. Works closely with the Tech Team on workflow optimization, Neatify optimization, Audit product offerings, establish goals for new technology ventures and establishes airtight plans for rollouts of new technologies and works with other necessary parties to facilitate it seamlessly. This role will be extremely hands-on with the onboarding, training, and the deliverables of the NeatGlobal team including helping with interviewing new hires. The Operations Manager will work with all stake holder from various department to make sure Neatloans is compliant and meets all regulations, maximizing the efficiency of Neat Loans on a per-employee basis, leveraging technology and resources to the maximum capacity. Key Results: When this job is performed well, the following results are created: - Team overall performance (Productivity, Efficiency, Quality, Pipeline Management) - Reduce the number of unsaleable loans and reduce the average number of post-closing conditions per loan - Process and Procedure documentation (Wiki) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Responsible for the team's overall performance (Productivity, Efficiency, Quality, Pipeline Management) - Development of training materials, to include role guides, check lists, and system training for new employees and global team - Create, manage, and be accountable for: Order Outs Desk, Disclosure Desk, and Doc Wrangler team - Provide new tech release training and support to operations to show how new technology impacts workflows and adjusts loan level and pipeline level process - Identify best practices, current process inconsistencies, gaps and quality deficiencies, communication shortfalls, and prospective improvements to enhance efficiency, timelines, cost, and customer experience - Make recommendations for improvements based on an analysis of end-to-end workflows, processes and procedures, best practices for efficiencies - Implement operating improvements: - Meeting with C-Suite and managers to describe problem, solution, and benefits - Provide deliverables to support operations team with necessary documentation, training, tools, and workflow enhancements based on existing technologies - Monitor implementation/execution to ensure success and consistent implementation Tools and Resources: - Stakeholders in Operations and Sales - Stakeholders company wide as applicable - Vendors - Training Department - Tech Department - QC Compliance and Post Closing Qualifications: - 5+ years of current mortgage experience in operations (underwriting and processing) - Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment, Ability to multitask - Acute attention to detail with strong technical knowledge - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong working knowledge of investor guidelines, underwriting policies and loan products - Track record of success building and leading strong results-oriented mortgage operations teams - Familiarity with one of the major Loan Origination Systems, and willingness to learn and use an unfamiliar platform - Experience in an active production environment - Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction - Superior verbal and written communication skills - Detail-oriented outlook, coupled with ability to plan ahead and meet deadlines on time - Process information quickly and with a high degree of accuracy - Identify and resolve any discrepancies with data entry - High energy, self-motivated and service-oriented attitude - Ability to recruit, lead, and train others.
