Job Title: Marketing Manager

Department: Marketing

Location: Philippines / Myanmar

Job Summary:

The Manager - Marketing- will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing marketing initiatives to drive brand growth, product positioning, and market share expansion for the pharmaceutical division.


- The role involves leading a team, ensuring effective brand management, and working closely with sales, medical affairs, and regulatory teams to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and implement marketing strategies for the assigned pharmaceutical brands/products.

- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to drive decision-making.

- Identify new business opportunities, including new product launches and portfolio expansion.

Brand Management:

- Drive brand positioning and promotional strategies for existing and new products.

- Ensure the development of effective marketing campaigns, including digital marketing initiatives.

- Oversee content creation for promotional materials, detailing aids, and medical communication.

Sales & Business Collaboration:

- Work closely with the sales team to support field force effectiveness and ensure alignment with marketing objectives.

- Provide product training and marketing support to sales teams to enhance brand visibility.

- Monitor sales performance and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead and mentor a team of product managers and marketing executives.

- Ensure continuous learning and development of the team to enhance marketing capabilities.

Regulatory & Compliance:

- Ensure all marketing activities comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations and ethical guidelines.

- Liaise with medical, legal, and regulatory teams for approvals on marketing communications.

Financial & Budgeting:

- Manage marketing budgets efficiently to maximize ROI.

- Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective marketing operations.

Key Requirements:

- Education:- MBA/PGDM in Marketing or a related field. A background in Life Sciences/Pharmacy is preferred.

- Experience:- 8+ years in pharmaceutical marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Industry Knowledge:- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing dynamics, product lifecycle management, and competitive landscape.

Skills:

- Strategic thinking and analytical skills

- Leadership and team management

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Digital marketing and omnichannel marketing expertise

- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills

Preferred Experience:

- Exposure to specialty or chronic therapy segments like Cardio-Diabetes, Neurology, Oncology, or Critical Care.

- Experience in launching new pharmaceutical products and driving market penetration strategies.
