Job Title: Operations Manager Logistics (Hub Incharge)

Mandatory First Mile & Last Mile experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the logistics hub in Chakan, including inbound (first mile) and outbound (last mile) activities.

- Lead and supervise a team of delivery executives, sorting staff, and transport coordinators.

- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments, maintaining TAT and service quality.

- Monitor and optimize vehicle routing, load planning, and delivery scheduling.

- Coordinate with transport vendors, courier partners, and clients for smooth operations.

- Handle manpower planning, shift scheduling, and training of operations staff.

- Maintain MIS reports, shipment tracking, and hub performance metrics.

- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory guidelines.

- Resolve delivery issues, exceptions, and customer escalations promptly.

- Drive continuous improvement in process efficiency and cost control.

Requirements:

- Post Graduate (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management).

- 7+ years of experience in logistics operations, hub management, or transportation handling.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Familiarity with first mile & last mile logistics processes.

- Good knowledge of local geography and transport routes in Pune/Chakan region.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills.

- Proficient in Excel and logistics management systems.
