The organization offers a range of services including telecalling, sales, and customer support. By combining automation with trained professionals, the platform enhances operational efficiency, reduces costs, and supports business growth across multiple industries. Position Overview: - The Legal Manager will play a critical role in supporting the organizations legal and compliance operations. - This individual will be responsible for managing contract negotiations, ensuring regulatory compliance, advising internal stakeholders on legal risks, and maintaining comprehensive legal documentation. - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and commercial law and demonstrate the ability to align legal strategies with broader business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Contract Review and Negotiation: - Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements, vendor contracts, and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). - Collaborate with business and sales teams to facilitate timely execution of contracts while minimizing legal risk. Legal Risk Management and Advisory: - Provide practical and business-oriented legal advice on operational issues, internal policies, and regulatory obligations. - Identify legal risks and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate those risks. Regulatory Compliance: - Monitor and analyze legal and regulatory developments relevant to the organization, particularly in areas such as financial technology, telecommunications, data protection, and labor laws. - Assist in the interpretation of new regulations and recommend updates to internal policies and procedures as required. Policy Development and Documentation: - Support the creation and maintenance of internal legal and compliance policies. - Ensure proper documentation and version control of legal templates, standard operating procedures, and other legal documents. Contract Management: - Maintain an organized contract repository, track renewal dates and obligations, and ensure accurate recordkeeping. - Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the complete execution and closure of contractual arrangements. Legal Coordination: - Act as the primary liaison with external legal counsel for matters involving litigation, intellectual property, and specialized compliance issues. - Support legal audits, internal investigations, and other compliance-related initiatives. Required Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Law. - 5 to 8 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with exposure to SaaS, business process outsourcing (BPO), or other technology-focused sectors. - Strong understanding of Indian contract law, labor law, and IT/Data Protection compliance (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act). - Demonstrated ability to offer legal advice that supports business strategy. - Prior experience managing external legal counsel. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
