Manager - Legal - Banking & Finance - LLB/LLM

Qualification: LLB / LLM

Experience: 2-5 years

Location: Mumbai

Role Overview:

This role supports the Company's secured lending, real-estate-backed financing, and capital-raising activities. The position offers hands-on exposure to loan documentation, security creation, and RBI-regulated transaction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lending & Security Documentation:

- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting

- Loan agreements (construction finance, LRD, LAP, structured credit)

- Mortgage deeds, hypothecation deeds, guarantees, and security documents

- Debenture Trust Deeds and Inter-Creditor Agreements

- Support securitisation and direct assignment documentation.

- Assist in capital market issuances (unlisted NCDs, CCDs, OCDs).

Transaction Execution & Closure:

- Prepare and track conditions precedent (CP) and ensure timely closure.

- Assist with post-disbursement documentation and security perfection.

- Coordinate with trustees, external counsels, and internal operations teams.

Regulatory & Internal Support:

- Conduct legal research on RBI directions applicable to NBFCs.

- Support preparation of board notes, transaction summaries, and internal trackers.

- Maintain systematic documentation repositories with version control.

Key Skills & Attributes:

- Strong interest in NBFC lending and structured finance.

- High attention to detail and documentation discipline.

- Ability to manage multiple transactions under guidance.

Qualifications:

- LL.B. from a recognized institution.

- 2-3 years' experience in banking & finance practice at a top-tier law firm.

Working Days - Mon - Friday

Working Timings - 10.30AM -7 PM
