Manager L&D OD & DEI


The L&D and Engagement Manager partners with Sales leadership and the wider organization to drive impactful capability-building, foster employee engagement, and support change initiatives.


This role designs and delivers training content, builds competencies, manages internal communications, and enables the FMCG salesforce to excel in skills, culture, and adaptability.

This role puts a strong focus on building sales capabilities, driving performance, and aligning HR strategies with the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement structured learning and development programs focused on enhancing sales capability and driving FMCG sales excellence.

- Develop original training content in multiple formats (workshops, e-learning modules, playbooks, videos, and presentations).

- Assess competency gaps through surveys, feedback systems, and collaboration with business heads; translate needs into targeted interventions.

- Champion and model FMCG ethos and values in all engagement and learning initiatives.

- Plan and execute employee engagement programs linked to culture, recognition, and motivation across Sales teams.

- Serve as a change management agentdrafting clear communication plans, supporting transformation projects, and addressing employee concerns.

- Manage internal communication, ensuring all teams are informed, engaged, and aligned during organizational changes or new initiatives.

- Track success metrics for L&D and engagement programs, reporting improvements in capability, engagement, and business KPIs.

- Support career development, succession planning, and talent mapping for Sales teams.

- Maintain and update all training, engagement, and communication materials as the organization evolves.

Qualifications:

- MBA from a reputed institute (HR, L&D, Organizational Development, General Management focus preferred).

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in L&D, employee engagement, internal communications, or sales capability development, preferably in FMCG/consumer sector.

- Experience designing end-to-end learning initiatives and engagement programs, with change management exposure.
