Position Overview: The Learning and Development (L&D) Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive L&D strategy to enhance the skills, performance, and career growth of employees across the organization. This is an individual contributor role that requires a tech-savvy, curious, and quick-learning professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity. The role may involve travel to collaborate with external partners and group companies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Learning Strategy & Execution: - Develop and facilitate in-house training programs tailored to organizational needs. - Partner with external vendors to source and deliver relevant learning programs. - Partner with business and HR leaders to align learning initiatives with talent strategy. 2. Training Needs Analysis (TNA): - Conduct skill gap assessments across business units using surveys, performance data, and feedback loops. - Design and implement succession planning initiatives to identify and prepare high-potential employees for future leadership roles. 3. Learning Analytics & Effectiveness: - Research, implement, and manage a Learning Management System to support training delivery. - Develop training content using open-source materials and monitor implementation through collaboration with training managers from group companies. 4. Competency Mapping & Experiential Learning: - Build and maintain role-wise competency frameworks for staffing and business functions. - Design experiential learning initiatives including job rotations, simulations, and shadowing. 5. Talent Development & Coaching: - Identify high-potential employees and implement personalized development plans. - Facilitate or coordinate coaching and mentoring programs to drive performance and readiness. 6. Stakeholder Management: - Collaborate closely with department heads, SMEs, and external partners to co-create content. - Manage L&D budgets, vendors, and training tools/platforms effectively. 7. Onboarding Programs: - Create structured onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires into the organization. - Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to tailor onboarding content to specific roles and departments. Requirements: - Hands-on experience in digital learning platforms, LMS, and badging tools (e.g., Credly, Degreed, Coursera). - Analytical Skills: Expertise in assessing technology landscapes, identifying gaps, and proposing actionable improvements. - Communication: Excellent ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams. - Problem-Solving: Strong strategic thinking with a focus on pragmatic, results-driven solutions. - Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in technology or business management are a plus.
