Role Overview:

The Legal Manager/Lead role is responsible for managing all legal and compliance matters related to the organization's healthcare operations in Hyderabad. This role involves providing legal counsel to internal stakeholders, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, and mitigating legal risks. The Legal Manager/Lead will collaborate closely with various departments, including operations, finance, and clinical teams, to ensure legal compliance and protect the organization's interests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of healthcare-related legal issues, ensuring informed decision-making and minimizing legal risks.

- Develop and implement legal compliance programs and policies, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations and promoting a culture of compliance.

- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, partners, and other third parties, protecting the organization's interests and ensuring favorable terms.

- Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes, representing the organization's interests and minimizing potential liabilities.

- Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging healthcare laws and regulations, providing timely updates and recommendations to management.

- Monitor and assess the organization's compliance with healthcare regulations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

- Develop and deliver training programs on legal and compliance topics, educating employees on their responsibilities and promoting a culture of compliance.

- Collaborate with external legal counsel on complex legal matters, ensuring effective representation and achieving favorable outcomes.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in corporate law, contract law, and healthcare regulations.

- Proven ability to interpret and apply legal principles to complex business situations.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Bachelor's degree in Science/Technology or related field, combined with an LLB degree from a recognized university.

- 5-10 years of relevant experience in legal and compliance roles within the healthcare industry.
