Key Responsibilities:

- Technology Strategy & Alignment

- Design and execute IT strategies that directly support business goals.

- Champion digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.

- Leadership & People Development

- Lead and inspire a team of IT professionals, nurturing future leaders.

- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

Web & Mobile Applications:

- Oversee enterprise applications lifecycle, ensuring scalability and integration.

- Drive adoption of modern platforms that improve user experience and process efficiency.

- Infrastructure & Security

- Ensure high availability and resilience of IT infrastructure, networks, and data centres.

- Build a robust cybersecurity posture with proactive policies, monitoring, and incident response.

Cloud & Emerging Tech:

- Define and implement cloud migration and optimisation strategies.

- Explore new technologies (AI, analytics, automation) to strengthen competitive advantage.

Data & Business Intelligence:

- Establish enterprise-wide BI practices for real-time, data-driven decision making.

- Ensure accuracy, governance, and accessibility of data assets.

Program & Vendor Management:

- Deliver large-scale IT programs on time and within budget.

- Negotiate and manage technology vendors to ensure value and service quality.

- Financial Stewardship

- Develop and control IT budgets, ensuring investments are cost-effective and impactful.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Masters degree or certifications (PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or cloud certifications) preferred.

Experience:

- 18+ years of progressive IT leadership, with proven achievements in Applications, Infrastructure, Security, and BI.

- Strong preference for candidates with manufacturing sector experience.
