Job Summary
The HR Manager will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to manage end-to-end HR operations for a growing medical disposables business. The role will focus on talent acquisition, HR operations, employee engagement, statutory compliance, performance management, and HR policy development. The incumbent will be responsible for the complete employee lifecycle while supporting a fast-paced, startup-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive hiring strategy
- Manage end-to-end recruitment through consultants and direct sourcing
- Hire across functions: Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.
- Identify manpower requirements with department heads
- Develop effective hiring strategies for niche medical device talent
- Oversee onboarding and induction programs
2. HR Operations
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with corporate guidelines
- Manage employee records, HRIS systems, and documentation
- Oversee attendance, leave, and payroll coordination
- Ensure smooth HR operations across the organization
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle
- Act as a bridge between leadership and employees
3. Employee Engagement & Relations
- Build a performance-driven and positive work culture
- Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution
- Drive engagement and retention initiatives
- Enhance employee satisfaction and workplace experience
4. Performance Management
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems
- Support goal setting, reviews, and development planning
- Monitor productivity and performance metrics
- Align performance systems with corporate practices
5. Training & Development
- Identify competency gaps and training needs
- Coordinate training programs (technical, compliance, leadership)
- Maintain training records as per regulatory standards
6. Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations
- Manage PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory benefits
- Align with corporate HR policies and compliance frameworks
7. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report HR metrics (attrition, hiring, manpower planning, training)
- Provide insights to leadership for decision-making
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR / Business Administration or related field
- MBA / PGDM in HR preferred
Experience Required:
- 10-15 years of HR experience
- Preferably from medical devices, medical disposables, or healthcare industry
- Experience in both corporate and startup environments is preferred
