
About the Role
Our client, a leading European organization, is setting up a Digital Engineering Centre in India to drive global innovation and transformation initiatives.
We are looking for a hands-on HR leader who will own the entire HR function end-to-end. This is a standalone role that requires both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution - from shaping people strategy and culture to managing recruitment, employee lifecycle, and HR operations, while partnering closely with global stakeholders across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:-
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Define and drive the HR strategy aligned with global business objectives
- Partner with senior leadership as a trusted advisor across India and Europe
- Lead workforce planning, organization design, and scaling initiatives
Global & Cross-Cultural Collaboration:
- Act as a bridge between India and European teams
- Drive alignment in culture, communication, and ways of working
- Enable effective cross-border collaboration
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management:
- Lead end-to-end hiring across technical and business roles
- Build strong talent pipelines to support rapid growth
- Ensure seamless onboarding and structured offboarding processes
HR Operations & Administration:
- Oversee payroll, employee lifecycle management, and HR operations
- Manage HR systems, reporting, and employee records
- Ensure operational efficiency across HR processes
Compliance & Governance (India):
- Ensure adherence to Indian labor laws and statutory regulations
- Manage PF, ESI, Gratuity, Professional Tax, and related compliance
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities
- Ensure audit readiness and governance frameworks
Culture & Employee Experience:
- Build a high-performance, inclusive, and engaging work environment
- Drive employee engagement and well-being initiatives
- Strengthen organizational culture and team cohesion
Performance Management & Development:
- Implement performance management frameworks aligned with global standards
- Support leadership in goal setting, feedback, and development planning
- Drive learning and development initiatives
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with business leaders on organizational challenges
- Provide guidance on employee relations and conflict resolution
- Enable transparent and effective communication
Workplace & Office Management:
- Oversee office operations and workplace experience
- Manage vendors and employee services
- Ensure alignment with organizational standards
Experience:-
- 610+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Strong experience in HR operations, payroll, and compliance in India
- Proven track record in scaling teams and supporting business growth
- Experience in global or cross-cultural environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft 365
Education:-
- Bachelors / Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
