Job Description: Senior Manager HR
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with business goals, long-term vision, and organizational values.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights on workforce planning, talent development, and organizational structure.
- Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure seamless execution of HR processes across all functions and locations.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Oversee recruitment, ensuring quality hiring for niche and consulting-specific positions.
- Build strong pipelines for critical roles and support succession planning for key positions.
- Strengthen employer branding initiatives and engagement with external talent networks.
3. HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure smooth functioning of core HR operations including onboarding, documentation, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain and update HRMS, ensuring accuracy, system efficiency, and digital transformation of HR processes.
- Drive policy creation, review, and implementation in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
4. Performance Management & Capability Building:
- Lead the annual performance review processes with clear frameworks and timely execution.
- Partner with business heads to identify capability gaps and implement learning & development interventions.
- Facilitate leadership development and career growth conversations across the organization.
5. Employee Engagement & Culture Building:
- Design and implement engagement initiatives that enhance motivation, retention, and workplace culture.
- Build a transparent, feedback-driven environment by driving pulse surveys, grievance handling, and open communication forums.
- Address employee concerns proactively and ensure a supportive and inclusive work environment.
6. Stakeholder & Change Management:
- Work closely with CXOs, Partners and Senior Managers to support business decisions from an HR perspective.
- Lead change-management initiatives related to restructuring, new policies, new systems, or cultural evolution.
- Provide guidance to leaders on team management, performance concerns, and workforce challenges.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 10-15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role.
- Strong background in Consulting, CA Firms, Audit, Taxation, or Professional Services (highly preferred).
- Expertise in Talent Management, HR Operations, Compliance, HRMS, Compensation, Performance Management, and Stakeholder Management.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
- High degree of ownership, problem-solving ability, and capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
