HR Operations Manager

Location: Mumbai (Preferred) / Remote

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven HR Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end HR operations and ensure a seamless employee experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing employee lifecycle processes, HR administration, compliance, HR systems, reporting, and payroll coordination while driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and exit formalities.

- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.

- Oversee attendance, timesheets, leave management, and employee data within the HRMS.

- Ensure timely and accurate payroll inputs by coordinating with the finance/payroll team.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR operational queries.

- Maintain statutory and compliance-related documentation and support HR audits.

- Prepare HR MIS, dashboards, and reports on headcount, attendance, leave, attrition, and other key HR metrics.

- Monitor and improve HR operational processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

- Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and organizational standards.

- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal HR communications.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of HR processes.

- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to strengthen HR operations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 58 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or HR Shared Services.

- Strong experience in employee lifecycle management, attendance, leave administration, payroll coordination, and HR documentation.

- Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms and advanced MS Excel.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Prior experience in the NGO, non-profit, or social impact sector will be an added advantage.
