About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled HR Operations & Compliance professional to join a leading organization in Mumbai and work closely with the HR Head. This is a critical, hands-on role responsible for ensuring seamless HR operations, robust compliance, and accuracy across the complete employee lifecycle.

The role will involve ownership of key HR processes including employee documentation, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, HR audits, HRMS management, attendance & leave administration, HR MIS and reporting, onboarding, and employee separation processes.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in HR Operations and Compliance, with proven experience in large corporate or multinational environments, along with a high level of accuracy, process orientation, confidentiality, and accountability.

Mandatory Qualification:

- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources from a Tier-1 Premier Business School (Mandatory)

Experience:

- 78 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.

- Strong exposure to end-to-end HR Operations/compliance.

- Hands-on experience in payroll, employee documentation, HRMS and statutory compliance.

- Prior experience in large corporates, MNCs, or professionally managed organizations is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day HR operations and ensure smooth execution of HR processes.

- Conduct regular HR audits covering employee records, payroll inputs, attendance and statutory documents.

- Handle employee documentation including joining, onboarding, appointment letters, employee files, KYC and HR records.

- Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions and exit formalities.

- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leave, deductions, incentives and other salary-related data.

- Ensure accurate attendance, leave and shift records and coordinate with payroll for monthly salary processing.

- Handle PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS and other statutory compliance-related activities and documentation.

- Maintain and update employee data in HRMS and ensure proper documentation of employee records.

- Prepare HR MIS reports related to headcount, attendance, leave, payroll, attrition and employee movements.

- Coordinate full and final settlement, exit documentation, clearance and relieving/experience letters.

- Handle employee queries related to payroll, attendance, leave, HR policies and documentation.

- Maintain HR policies, SOPs, forms and operational records.

- Maintain confidential employee records and HR databases with accuracy.

- Coordinate with Finance and other departments for payroll, employee documentation and statutory compliance.

- Identify discrepancies in HR records, attendance and payroll inputs and ensure timely resolution.

- Maintain documentation and records required for internal and statutory audits.

- Support process standardization, documentation and continuous improvement of HR operations.

- Excellent coordination and communication skills for handling employee queries and cross-functional requirements.

- High levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.

- Strong analytical mindset with experience in HR MIS and reporting.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven corporate environment.
