Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee end-to-end HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding).
- Ensure compliance with statutory and labor laws, including timely filings and audits.
- Partner with finance and legal teams for HR compliance and policy updates.
- Maintain and regularly audit employee records, HRMS data, and documentation.
Payroll & Compensation:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing in coordination with finance/payroll vendors.
- Ensure accurate salary disbursements, deductions (PF, ESI, tax, etc.), and compliance reporting.
- Lead annual compensation reviews, benchmarking, and salary structure alignment with market trends.
Performance Management System (PMS):
- Own and manage the PMS cycle - goal setting, mid-year, and annual appraisals.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure performance frameworks are fair, consistent, and aligned with company objectives.
- Provide training and support to managers and employees on performance tools and feedback mechanisms.
HR Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze HR metrics including hiring trends, attrition rates, employee engagement, NPS, time-to-fill, and diversity metrics.
- Provide actionable insights through dashboards and reports for leadership decision-making.
- Leverage data to forecast workforce needs, identify risks, and support talent strategies.
Engagement & Retention:
- Support employee engagement initiatives and analyze effectiveness through surveys and feedback mechanisms.
- Drive insights from engagement/NPS surveys and recommend improvement strategies.
- Work closely with business units to identify retention risks and build proactive solutions.
Process Improvement & HR Technology:
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline HR operations.
- Champion the effective use of HRIS and other digital tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead or support HR digitization and automation initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience in HR Operations.
- Proven experience in managing payroll, compliance, PMS, and compensation frameworks.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in HR analytics - hiring, attrition, engagement, and NPS metrics.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, charts, data modeling).
