
Role Overview:
As the Manager - HR Business Partner - Sales, you will be a critical interface between the Sales function and the broader HR organization within our dynamic chemical manufacturing company. Your day-to-day will involve partnering closely with Sales leadership to understand their strategic objectives and translate them into effective HR initiatives. You will be responsible for driving talent management, performance management, employee engagement, and compensation strategies specifically tailored to the needs of the Sales team. This role directly impacts the success of our Sales organization by ensuring we have a highly motivated, skilled, and engaged workforce driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and the specific needs of the Sales function.
- Partner with Sales leadership to identify and address key talent management challenges, including recruitment, development, and retention of top sales talent.
- Manage the performance management process for the Sales team, ensuring fair and consistent application of performance standards and providing coaching to managers on performance improvement.
- Design and administer sales incentive programs that motivate sales performance and align with business objectives.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives within the Sales organization to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement within the Sales function.
- Manage employee relations issues within the Sales team, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of conflicts.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Proven expertise in designing and administering sales incentive programs.
- Strong understanding of talent management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- MBA in Human Resources from IIM, TISS, XLRI, FMS, MDI, or Symbiosis.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
