Job Title: Project Manager / Project Head Defence Manufacturing Projects

Location: Gwalior

About the Role:

We are hiring seasoned Project Management professionals for a high-impact role in the Defence Manufacturing sector, focused on setting up large-scale plants for arms, ammunition, and explosives. The role demands complete ownership of project lifecycle execution from Greenfield stage to commissioning and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end execution of Greenfield manufacturing projects

- Drive plant setup including infrastructure, machinery installation, and commissioning

- Manage complete project lifecycle: planning, budgeting, execution, commissioning, and handover

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, production, and regulatory bodies

- Ensure adherence to defence compliance, safety, and quality standards

- Monitor timelines, cost controls, and risk mitigation strategies

- Liaise with government authorities and defence stakeholders where required

Candidate Profile:

1. For Project Manager:

- 10+ years of experience in project execution within defence/aerospace manufacturing

- Hands-on experience in Greenfield plant setup and commissioning

- Strong exposure to manufacturing plant projects (arms, ammunition, explosives preferred)

2. For Project Head:

- 15+ years of experience with leadership role in large-scale defence/aerospace projects

- Proven track record of leading Greenfield projects end-to-end

- Strong expertise in managing multi-functional teams and large budgets

Mandatory Requirements:

- Industry: Defence / Aerospace ONLY (Non-negotiable)

- Experience in plant construction & commissioning (must-have)

- Strong project lifecycle management experience
