About the Company:
A growing, India-focused business backed by a global organization, currently building its core operations and support functions. The company is in an expansion phase and is looking to establish strong finance processes and governance frameworks to support business growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the end-to-end finance function as an individual contributor (IC), including accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Drive monthly MIS, management reporting, and financial analysis for business decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts and financial records.
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and working capital management.
- Review and supervise outsourced payroll, taxation, and compliance activities.
- Establish and strengthen finance processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and support operational decisions.
- Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and vendors as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified CA / CMA / MBA (Finance).
- 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and MIS.
- Ability to operate as an independent finance owner in an IC role.
- Prior exposure to startup, consulting, or dynamic environments preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on approach with high ownership and accountability.
