Manager - Finance - Manufacturing Firm - CA/ICWA

Manager - Finance (14-25 yrs)

The incumbent will be reported by a team of FC, Senior Accounts Manager, Senior Accountants and entire Accounting team, being the Head of Finance & Accounts.

Looking for a candidate who's a CA / ICWA with strong background in manufacturing industry for 10-12 years post-qualification and in the age group of 35-40 years with a stable career-graph and having administrative experience.

Someone with East African experience in Uganda, Kenya or Tanzania will be an added advantage.

Candidate should have excellence in English communication which is a requirement for the position as it involves external interface with various government authorities

Major responsibilities:

- Experienced in Daily Administration to support CEO

- Daily Management of entire accounts work with the team

- Managing Cash-flow with Credit Control Manager & Purchase Manager

- Monitoring daily cash management and remain custodian of entire cash

- Preparation and submission of MIS to the management

- Preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual management accounts

- Responsible for mid-month and end-month payroll along with HR Manager to ensure all salaries & wages are paid on time

- Submission of monthly VAT returns, PAYE (Income Tax of individuals), With-holding VAT to the relevant government authorities

- Highly conversant with working in ERP / SAP environment and managing the entire ERP system as the incumbent will be having the highest category of user-rights in the system

- Experience in Project Financials and making projected financials for any & all projects

- Authorisation of Sales Invoicing on a daily basis

Project Finance:

- Responsible for all banking matters related to working capital / term loan and payment to overseas / domestic suppliers

- Responsible for dealing with Uganda Revenue Authority on matters pertaining to taxation and any other compliances

- Experienced in audit matters - Statutory and External; and experienced in audit process with multinational audit firms

- Preparation of Annual Revenue Budget and Annual Capex Budget for submission to CEO & MD

- Be a part of the vendor management team with the senior management team of factory

- Responsible for Insurance of All Industrial Risk policy, Motor vehicles and Human resources together with CEO, Group Insurance Manager & HR Manager

- Responsible for all legal matters together with CEO, Group Company Secretary and advocate/s

- Daily interface will be with the General Manager, Factory Manager, Head of Marketing & Sales, Purchase Manager, Project Manager, Plant Manager, Logistics Manager, HR Manager, Credit Control Manager, Financial Controller and Entire Accounts Team.
