Manager - Finance

Roles and responsibilities :

- Owning the end-to-end P&L for a - 2,000 Cr+ multi-segment portfolio, delivering monthly financial reporting, KPI and cost driver analyses, and executive commentary.

- Partnering with business heads to address key variances and operational drivers, & emerging risks

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Consolidating annual budgets across plants and business segments, embedding cost-saving targets and performance metrics. - conducting monthly stakeholder reviews, and ensured timely follow-up on corrective actions,

- Investment & Strategic Planning: Built financial models and evaluating organic and inorganic investments using scenario-based financial models with IRR, NPV & sensitivity analyses;

- assessing financial risks, reviewed agreements and supporting negotiations on payment structures and consideration terms to mitigate risk and ensure project viability.

- Turnaround & Profitability Enhancement: Conducting comprehensive pricing, volume, and cost-structure analyses of loss-making and under-performing projects against their approved business cases to identify root causes.

- Month-End Closing: Lead the month-end close process, including accruals, cost provisions & intercompany reconciliations; drive efficiency improvements while ensuring accurate & system-aligned

- Consolidation: Handling consolidation of financials, including foreign subsidiaries, as per IND AS, ensuring timely audit closure & transfer pricing compliance.

- Reporting Automation & Analytics: Drive automation using Power BI & Excel templates to deliver timely, accurate KPI dashboards and reduce manual reporting effort.
