Position Overview: - We are seeking a highly skilled Manager - Contracts & Claims with strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, claims management, dispute resolution, and legal risk assessment. - The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end contractual obligations, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and corporate policies. - The ideal candidate will have significant experience in handling commercial contracts, construction/project contracts, service agreements, and claims management across diverse industries. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, service agreements, NDAs, MoUs, vendor agreements, EPC/turnkey contracts, and related legal documents. - Manage and mitigate contractual and legal risks by ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. - Lead claims management including evaluation, preparation, documentation, and negotiation of claims related to delays, variations, damages, and disputes. - Provide legal advisory support to project, procurement, finance, and business development teams on contractual matters. - Coordinate with external legal counsel for arbitration, litigation, and dispute resolution. - Develop and implement contract management frameworks, templates, and SOPs to streamline processes. - Maintain accurate contractual records, databases, and audit-ready documentation. - Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for internal stakeholders on contractual compliance and claims handling. - Assist senior management in risk analysis, due diligence, and strategic decision-making.
