Position: Manager-Contracts

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Project Manager

Criteria: Diploma with 12+ Years of Experience or /BE/B.Tech with 10+ Years of experience in Contract Management from EPC Industry (Degree in Law or Post Graduate in Contract Management shall be added advantage)

Stakeholder Management

Job Purpose: Responsible for Development, Management, and Maintenance of all main contracts and subcontracts of the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assume full responsibility for all contractual activities from bid stage to project closure, ensuring all obligations are met and issues resolved.

- Ensure accurate drafting, negotiation, and development of contracts and subcontracts for various works.

- Identify and manage customer, consortium, and third-party obligations; develop and implement the Project Contract & Commercial Plan, including claim and risk strategies.

- Support risk and opportunity assessment, ensuring effective mitigation and compliance with project policies.

- Manage contract correspondence, notices, change orders, claims, and counterclaims with proper documentation.

- Advise the project team on rights, obligations, compliance, and variation management.

- Oversee claims, insurance, variation orders, and change management for both main and subcontract agreements.

- Monitor milestones, deliverables, invoicing, extensions, renewals, and close-outs to ensure contract performance.

- Review subcontractor performance, claims, and amendments; prepare supporting documents for formal issuance.

- Draft and review advanced legal/contractual agreements (clients, suppliers, subcontractors) and manage risks across the EPC process.

- Identify and manage delaying or disruptive events affecting contracts and subcontracts to minimize exposure.
