Role Overview:
The Capital Projects Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering cross-functional projects related to manufacturing, capacity expansion, automation, and operational improvements. The role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to defined quality, safety, and performance standards in a complex manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Governance:
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, and success metrics.
- Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, and risk registers.
- Track project progress, manage dependencies, and ensure governance discipline.
Execution & Delivery:
- Drive end-to-end execution of manufacturing, automation, and CAPEX projects.
- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams and external vendors/contractors.
- Ensure timely resolution of execution issues and deviations from plan.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the single point of contact for all project stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and structured decision-making.
- Provide regular project updates, dashboards, and escalation to leadership.
Cost, Quality & Risk Management:
- Track and control project budgets to prevent cost overruns.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and progress dashboards.
- Conduct post-project reviews to capture learnings and improvement opportunities.
- Standardize project management practices and templates where applicable.

Preferred Background (Edge): Prior experience delivering world-class manufacturing facilities or large-scale CAPEX projects within the FMCG or allied manufacturing domain.
