Job Title: Business Development Manager - Embedded & Firmware Solutions

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Embedded Sales & Marketing Specialist with strong technical expertise and business acumen to drive growth across embedded systems and semiconductor solutions. The role also includes ownership of staff augmentation services, enabling customers to scale their engineering teams with high-quality embedded talent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Sales & Business Development
- Own the end-to-end technical sales cycle for embedded software and semiconductor solutions, including Linux BSP, device drivers, firmware, camera drivers, WLAN/Wi-Fi stacks, BIOS, and QNX platforms.
- Understand customer product architectures and drive design wins through strong technical positioning.
- Engage with design engineers, architects, and product teams to propose optimal embedded solutions.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and achievement of revenue targets.
2. Staff Augmentation & Services Sales
- Drive business growth through staff augmentation services by identifying opportunities to deploy embedded engineers, firmware developers, and domain specialists at client locations.
- Understand client resource requirements and align them with internal talent pools and hiring strategies.
- Collaborate with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure timely onboarding and deployment of skilled resources.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of staff augmentation engagements, including demand generation, proposal creation, pricing, negotiation, onboarding, and account management.
- Build long-term relationships with clients for repeat business and ongoing staffing needs.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and utilization of deployed resources.
3. Technical Marketing & Product Positioning
- Develop and deliver impactful technical collateral such as presentations, solution briefs, demos, and competitive analyses.
Highlight capabilities in:
- Linux kernel and BSP customization
- Camera and imaging driver stacks
- QNX-based embedded solutions
- Connectivity solutions (Wi-Fi/WLAN)
- Firmware development and board bring-up
- BIOS/UEFI
- Support go-to-market strategies, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct market research on emerging technologies (e.g., Automotive ADAS, edge computing) and translate insights into actionable strategies.
4. Customer & Partner Engagement
- Act as the primary technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams.
- Lead technical workshops, PoCs, demos, and board bring-up sessions.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable inputs for engineering and delivery teams.
- Build strategic relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, ODMs, and ecosystem partners.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, recruitment, delivery, product management, and leadership teams to ensure successful execution of both project-based and staff augmentation engagements.
- Provide market and competitive insights to support business strategy and product roadmap decisions.
Required Technical Skillset:
Core Embedded Expertise:
- Linux BSP development and board bring-up
- Linux device driver development (I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, GPIO, MIPI, etc.)
- Camera and imaging driver development (ISP tuning, MIPI-CSI, sensor integration)
- QNX BSP and driver development
- Firmware development (RTOS, bare-metal, bootloaders)
- WLAN/Wi-Fi stack development (802.11 protocols, testing, coexistence)
- BIOS/UEFI development or configuration
- Strong understanding of SoC architecture, embedded hardware interfaces, and memory subsystems
Sales & Marketing Competencies:
- Experience in technical sales, staff augmentation, FAE, product marketing, or business development in embedded or semiconductor domains
- Strong understanding of IT/engineering staffing models and resource deployment strategies
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets, closing deals, and securing long-term engagements
- Experience in proposal development, pricing, contract negotiations, and account management
Tools & Platforms:

- Networking tools: Wireshark, iPerf
- Imaging tools and validation frameworks
- CRM tools: Salesforce, HubSpot
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 6-8 years of experience in embedded engineering along with technical sales, staff augmentation, FAE, or product marketing roles
- Strong exposure to automotive, IoT, industrial automation, or imaging domains
