Shape how compliance is taught:
- Guide internal teams on legal accuracy, nuance, and positioning for learning programs, simulations, case-studies, and LMS modules.

Lead research and thought leadership:
- Track and analyse developments in statutes, rules, case law, enforcement trends, and global regulatory standards across focus areas such as DPDP, anti-corruption, competition, and employment law, etc.
- Convert these insights into advisory notes, perspectives, frameworks, and product ideas that keep company ahead of the curve and relevant to general counsels, CHROs, and boards.
Co-create cool legal-tech and compliance tools:
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to conceptualize and refine tech-enabled compliance solutions (e.g., workflows, assessments, advisory tools, and dashboards).
- Define legal and risk parameters for these tools, including logic, edge cases, red-flag triggers, escalation paths, and defensible audit trails.
- Evaluate third-party tools, integrations, and data flows from a legal, privacy, and ethics lens, especially in areas like DPDP compliance, investigations, and employee reporting.
Strengthen client solutions and relationships:
- Partner with Business Development and Client Success teams to design tailored compliance solutions grounded in strong legal reasoning and practical risk assessments.
- Participate in key client conversations to explain legal positions, defend choices in product design, and co-create roadmaps with in-house legal and HR leaders.
Steward quality and partnerships:
- Ensure all external vendors, consultants, and subject-matter experts meet our legal and ethical standards.
- Review and support contracts, scopes of work, and related documentation for product, content, and tech collaborations as needed.
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent); LL.M. or additional specialization in corporate / technology / privacy / labour law is a plus.
- At least 7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure in compliance, investigations, employment, privacy/data protection, or regulatory advisory.
- Strong research skills and comfort working with evolving regulations, enforcement trends, and cross-jurisdictional guidance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication - you can turn dense law into crisp, business-friendly advice and narratives.
- High ownership, curiosity about technology and product thinking, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams under time pressure.
Why This Role Matters:
- Influence how leading organizations embed integrity, compliance, and culture into everyday behaviours using modern learning and tech.
- Build a portfolio of innovative compliance and legal-tech work that goes far beyond traditional advisory or contract-heavy roles.
- Grow into a senior, visible role at the intersection of law, product, and strategy, with a clear pathway toward broader leadership in legal, product counsel, or compliance innovation.
