
- Partner with the Head- Learning and Development to drive the L&D vision and long-term strategy in alignment with business priorities.
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable learning programs that support capability building, performance enhancement, and employee engagement.
- Develop and deliver high-impact sales training programs focused on luxury selling, high-value transaction handling, and service excellence.
- Collaborate with Retail Operations to address performance gaps and embed a culture of consultative and value-based selling.
- Design engaging and brand-aligned content using blended learning approaches, including digital modules, instructor-led sessions, videos, job aids, and toolkits.
- Ensure content reflects the luxury brand tone, product sophistication, and customer expectations.
- Plan and execute technical and gemological training in collaboration with IGI, GIA, and PGI, ensuring up-to-date and globally recognized certifications.
- Oversee training logistics, coordination with external partners, and integration of learnings into the internal curriculum.
- Act as the key L&D business partner to retail leaders, HR, marketing, and merchandising teams to identify training needs and co-create solutions.
- Maintain strong working relationships with external training vendors and certification bodies to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage end-to-end rollout of learning programs, including planning, delivery, facilitator coordination, learner engagement, and feedback collection.
- Ensure consistent and timely execution of training calendars across regions, store formats, and employee levels.
- Define success metrics and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, performance tracking, surveys, and ROI analysis.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies based on insights and feedback.
Talent & Leadership Development:
- Develop structured learning pathways and succession programs for frontline, mid-level, and emerging leaders.
- Support career development initiatives, performance enablement, and readiness planning.
- Ensure that all learning interventions reflect the luxury retail brand ethos, storytelling, and client experience philosophy.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence across the organization.
- Design Storyboard course for the training, develop course in authoring tool, guide & monitor test and ensure deployment of course in LMS.
- Act as a custodian for all the product training documents to enable effective knowledge management.
- Review and revise course materials to ensure they are in line with operating processes, procedures and systems.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the section.
- Review and provide regular and ad-hoc reports to management and other stakeholders as required.
- Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members.
- Contribute towards development of talent for the department by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities.
- Provide direction, mentoring, and leadership to the Diamond L&D team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Define clear roles, responsibilities, and goals for team members, aligning them with departmental objectives.
- Ensure resource planning, workload distribution, and professional development to maintain an agile and motivated team.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and development discussions to build a strong, engaged, and skilled workforce.
