Growth Marketer - Happay (by MakeMyTrip)

About the Role

The Growth Marketer at Happay plays a critical role in driving digital growth, expanding brand visibility, and generating qualified pipeline through SEO, performance, social, and event-led initiatives. This is a hands-on, on-site execution role - ideal for someone who learns fast, experiments fearlessly, and takes complete ownership from idea to outcome.

The role requires working closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and Content teams to strengthen Happay's digital presence, scale SEO performance, and build engagement through LinkedIn and offline touchpoints like CXO roundtables and webinars.

This position is based out of Happay's Bangalore office and requires daily office presence along with travel (4-5 days per month) for events and field activations.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Growth & SEO

- Lead the end-to-end SEO and AEO revamp of Happay's website and product pages.

- Partner with Product Marketing and content freelancers to refresh content, build new pages, and improve keyword rankings and conversions.

- Continuously track and optimize content performance through analytics and AI-driven tools.

- Benchmark top SaaS competitors and implement best practices for sustainable organic growth.

Performance Marketing (Google Search):

- Plan, execute, and optimize Google Search campaigns for high-intent keywords and lead generation.

- Create and test landing pages, messaging, and creatives to improve CTR, ad strength, dwell time, and conversions.

- Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and recommend improvements for CPL and ROI.

Social & Event Marketing:

- Build and execute a LinkedIn content calendar for Happay and leadership to drive thought leadership and brand visibility.

- Plan and manage 1-2 events per month (CXO roundtables, partner webinars, and community engagements) from concept to post-event amplification.

- Collaborate with design and product marketing teams to create impactful content and assets for campaigns.

- Travel 4-5 days per month across metros for on-ground event execution and coordination.

Collaboration & Reporting:

- Partner closely with Sales to align on target accounts, messaging, and post-campaign follow-ups.

- Track and report marketing performance metrics - traffic, leads, CPL, SQLs, and pipeline contribution.

- Use AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, keyword research, and content optimization.

What You'll Bring

- 2-6 years of experience in Growth, Digital, or Performance Marketing, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

- Hands-on expertise in SEO, Google Search Ads, and LinkedIn marketing.

- Proficiency with tools such as HubSpot, GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/Semrush, and AI-based marketing platforms.

- Strong execution skills with the ability to manage freelancers, vendors, and multiple deliverables.

- A curious learner who takes ownership, goes deep into problems, and figures things out independently.

- We don't expect you to know everything from day one - but you should have gone deep in at least one or two areas (like SEO, Google Ads, or LinkedIn). What matters more is your curiosity, bias for action, and willingness to learn fast and figure things out.

- Willingness to work from office daily and travel for events (approx. 4-5 days/month).

Success Factors

- Execution Ownership: Takes complete responsibility for outcomes - from planning to measurable impact.

- Learning Agility: Quickly learns new tools, concepts, and channels to drive growth.

- Analytical Rigor: Uses data to measure performance and make iterative improvements.

- Creative Experimentation: Brings fresh thinking, tests new ideas, and adapts fast.

- Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams - Sales, Product Marketing, and Design - to deliver impact.

This role is ideal for someone who loves to experiment, learns deeply, and does whatever it takes to move the needle
