Lyrus - Head - Finance - CA

Role Summary:

Lyrus is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead their financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with expertise in managing financial processes, compliance, and strategic decision-making. Proficiency in Tally is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage financial statements of the ultimate holding company

- To analyse and suggest appropriate tax planning strategy from time to time

- Conduct balance sheet audits and ensure accurate financial reporting.

- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reporting, budgeting,/forecasting and costing processes.

- Handle GST compliance, including GST refund and filing as well as all obligations relating to FEMA compliances (we have 3 foreign subsidiaries and 2 joint ventures).

- Oversee working capital management and manage a bank limit of 30 Cr.

- Support strategic initiatives, including private equity (PE) activities and company valuation assessments.

- Ensure proper implementation and working of various financial controls and corporate governance

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and provide insights for business growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in finance, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.

- Strong knowledge of Tally and ERP financial systems.

- Expertise in accounting, taxation (Income tax and GST), export/forex management, and working capital.

- Strategic mindset with the ability to support PE processes and company valuation.

- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
