Corporate Legal Manager
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive land title verification and legal due diligence, including examination of title deeds, encumbrance certificates, agreements, approvals, and statutory compliances.
- Draft, review, and finalize land acquisition, sale, lease, license, and related property documentation with minimal supervision.
- Provide legal support on real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to:
- Service agreements
- Vendor and supplier agreements
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Loan and financing documents
- Marketing, advertising, and partnership agreements
- Identify legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions to mitigate exposure.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Support internal stakeholders by providing timely legal advice aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain and update contract templates, trackers, and legal documentation repositories.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices impacting the business.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Prior experience in corporate legal, real estate, or commercial contracts will be preferred.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Open mindset and flexibility to adapt to evolving roles and responsibilities in a growing organization.
